I will try to make is as simple as possible and maybe with some different twists than the other two. Usually I think there is far too many tutorials and how-to’s on the web about simple flash programming, but the lack of information on this subject have prompted me to write another one. Recently I was made aware of this slightly more complex implementation at FlashGrind, check that out too ? The 2 articles in combination helped me through this nightmare. The other somewhat shorter article by (I think) Chris Sperry. I suggest you visit his site and read thought it once you have the basics working. The one written by a guy named Jeff Kamerer, is actually very good and informative but it is also very long and cumbersome. I have only been able to find 2 useful pages about this subject on the web. A really nice feature if you are developing large complex flash sites/applications but for some odd reason they choose to leave the documentation at an absolute minimum. Adobe have managed, once again, to create one of the most complicated systems in the universe. Please try again with a smaller file.Oh my god. Implement password policy controls at login to force users to change their password if the password does not meet the password policy criteria. Enable password policies on your instance. You can enable your ServiceNow instance to be accessible from a company-branded or custom URL. OAuth 2.0 lets users access instance resources through external clients by obtaining a token rather than by entering login credentials with each resource request. You can limit the number of concurrent interactive sessions for a user or role on an instance across all nodes. The Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) is an XML-based standard for exchanging authentication and authorization data between security domains. Adaptive authentication uses authentication policies to evaluate authentication requests and then either deny or allow access to your instance based on the specified policy conditions.Ĭertificate-based authentication lets you mutually authenticate user logins or inbound API requests using certificates from a trusted Certificate Authority (CA). Use the Adaptive authentication policy framework to enforce contextual authentication controls to the right users at the right time. Note: You can use SAML and Digest Authentication through the Multiple Provider SSOĮxternal SSO allows organizations to use several SSO identity providers (IdPs) to manage authentication as well as retain local database (basic) authentication.Īn LDAP integration allows your instance to use your existing LDAP server as the master source of user data.
